Sawari Ventures, an Egypt-based VC firm, has announced a $30 million investment to launch two venture capital funds to invest in startups in Egypt and Africa.

• Sawari Ventures aims to raise $200 million in the next 3-4 years for its funds.
• One of the funds will use EGP and the other will use USD. Both funds aim to invest in Egypt and Africa.
• Sawari Ventures was founded in 2010 and launched 5 funds managed by the firm itself and Flat6Labs.
• Previously, the company has invested in more the 30 startups.
