Launch: BIM Launches “SKYNA”

With the beginning of 2024, the Saudi venture building studio, BIM Ventures, launches its new company, SKYNA, based in Riyadh. SKYNA’s platform enables customers to easily access a luxury selection of private jets, allowing them to book confidently and securely for a unique journey.

The launch of SKYNA aligns with the national strategy for the aviation sector, introduced by the General Authority of Civil Aviation in June last year, to support the local, regional, and global air transport industry and to increase the sector’s contribution to the Kingdom’s GDP.

SKYNA aims to offer a luxurious experience to customers through advanced technological solutions for easy booking, arranging private flights at times that suit their schedules, and the possibility of choosing the type of aircraft and accompanying comfort and hospitality services.

These services are designed to accommodate the varying purposes of private travel, official missions, and business trips, offering high flexibility in scheduling flights to suit urgent business meetings, special occasions, and other travel goals.

On this occasion, Mr. Mohammed Amin Marah, CEO of BIM Ventures, said: ‘The private aviation sector will undergo development in line with the Kingdom’s aspirations to host global events like Riyadh Expo 2030 and international sports events, which will stimulate the aviation and tourism market. Our entry into this vital sector is the first step towards building more companies, providing promising investment opportunities, and we look forward to working with our partners and investors to achieve success and enable the local economy.’

He added: ‘This step is a strategic addition that underscores the integration of our services to meet diverse customer requirements and our commitment to enhancing the local economy, as well as creating new job opportunities for national talents. We are also striving to develop aviation technologies in line with current requirements. We are confident that this development will enhance tourism attraction, increase investment and trade to and from the Kingdom.’

It is noted that the private aviation sector is experiencing significant expansion in its activities, thanks to the increasing demand for its services by businessmen, officials, and others. Thanks to the strategic location of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom will be able to become a pivotal center for international aviation and an important link between the three continents.

Moreover, the travel and tourism sector in Saudi Arabia has seen a revival in recent years, including opening Saudi skies to local and international airlines, simplifying travel procedures and entry visas, developing tourist sites, and offering high-quality hospitality services. Additionally, Expo 2030 will contribute to increasing tourism and travel in Saudi Arabia, attracting tens of millions of visitors from all around the world. This, in turn, will increase the demand for travel and accommodation services in the Kingdom, thereby enhancing the growth in this sector and contributing to the realization of Vision 2030 in the field of developing a sustainable economy and diversifying income sources.
