CPX acquires spiderSilk, a cybersecurity AI company

UAE-based CPX announced that it has acquired spiderSilk, a cybersecurity AI startup based in the UAE, renowned for its exposure management platform.

  • spiderSilk was founded in the UAE in 2019 by Rami El Malak and Mossab Hussein.
  •  It develops cyber-AI products and is renowned for its flagship exposure management platform, Resonance.
  • Currently serves clients in both public and private sectors, and operates a research center dedicated to developing cybersecurity solutions
  • The acquisition will enhance CPX’s cybersecurity offering with additional advanced solutions.
  • Both parties aim to expand into key international markets, including North America, Saudi Arabia, and the GCC.
  • In 2023, spiderSilk announced the closure of a $9 million funding round led by Wa’ed Ventures, with participation from STV and Global Ventures.
