Saudi Startup MDD Closes a Series A Round

Saudi-based startup, MDD, has announced the closure of its Series A round for undisclosed value. The round has raised the startup value to 26.7 USD million according to the announcement.

MDD’s solutions aim to close the gap in the procurement and supply chain in the B2B market in Saudi Arabia by providing solutions to finance the procurements and manage the supply chains.

The startup said that it has preliminary approval from the Saudi Arabia Central Bank (SAMA) to provide financial solutions as it aims to fill the gaps in the supply chain and procurement market, and financing in particular.

MDD was launched in 2019 in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, and has previously announced the closure of its first round, Seed, in 2021 from angel investors.
